By the end of this unit, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge in how the Olympic Games

were formed and a better understanding of Ancient Greece. It is expected that students will be able
to recall who started the Olympic Games and where they were first held. Learning intentions also
include a better understanding on how people lived in Ancient Greece, that there was different
classes and not all people lived the same. Students will also be able to demonstrate their ability to
name the 12 Gods and Goddesss of Ancient Greece and list the roles that they played in the world
of Ancient Greece.
