Igbo society had strong religious beliefs, they mainly considered the gods as the

authority.
Religion was organized this way: Priestess of the oracle: She was the one that went
to the oracle in the mountains and was the communication between the oracle
and the people, Agbalas spirit prophized the future and gave advice to the
people through the priestess.
