GPRS Coding & Interleaving

GPRS has specific Interleaving and Coding Schemes:

Interleaving Depth is 4, i.e. each RLC Block is made up of 4 bursts

Coding Schemes:
Coding Scheme 1 (CS-1). Identical to the one of the standard SDCCH channel. It
consists of a half rate convolutional code for FEC
Coding Scheme 2 (CS-2). Punctured version of CS-1 (132 punctured bits)
Coding Scheme 3 (CS-3). Punctured version of CS-1 (220 punctured bits)
Coding Scheme 4 (CS-4). No coding for FEC
