I will be researching the subgenres

of drama and thriller as we decided our trailer will come under these
genres.
Addiction drama is a genre about an addiction,
mostly about drugs and alcohol. It shows the
life of an addict and makes the movie dramatic
and often emotional. They are usually based on
a true story. Examples of addiction drama

childhood stories. The characters often consist
of children and the storyline is dramatic and

drama. They are based primarily on actual

A psychological movie examines the psychological
being of its characters. For example, a psychological
crime drama will not only focus on the crimes being
committed, but also on why the person is crazy

From personal research, Ive come to the conclusion
that dramedies are based on love and romance.


Conspiracy thrillers consist of having a hero or a heroine who
are investigators and they will bring down illegal organisations .
This genre identifies the good overruling the evil. Examples of

Crime thrillers are focusing on the criminals and their actions
and by the end of the movie, we find out how the crime started.
