OBJECTIVE

I am a creative, energetic, person that enjoys music, sports, and helping others. I just completed a combined
degree (Science & Education) through the University of Lethbridge to become a teacher. I am looking for a
career in the field of education, teaching middle or high school preferably in the sciences or mathematics.
SUMMARY OF SKILLS

Leadership skills: I have demonstrated leadership skills in sports (figure skating and soccer), violin,
volunteering, Chair of Project Kenya at H.J. Cody High School, founder of the H.J. Cody High School Recycling
Group, leader for A Better World Canadas EDGE, EDGE club founder and club Chair, and teacher advisor for
a students union group at Innisfail High School.
Communication Skills: Used communication skills while coaching junior figure skating; completed my seventh
year of French as a second language course; travelled to Kenya on two humanitarian trips; and made
presentations on Project Kenya to various groups and organizations. I have also taught and communicated to
children in elementary and high school settings.
