A new Root Certificate for India PKI CCA India 2014 was generated on 5
th
March
2014.This certificate is valid for 10 years i.e. up to 5
th
march 2024. Under this
Root, Certifying Authorities can issue DSC with Validity period up to 3 years. The
SHA1 hash of this certificate is as given below.

Steps have been initiated for pre-installation of the new root certificate in
Microsoft products. Until then the certificate may need to be manually installed in
the trusted root certificate storage of Internet Explorer Browser.
