ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2007

The 35th Annual General Meeting of the New Zealand Association of Language
Teachers will be held at Riccarton Racecourse Conference Centre, Christchurch
at 3.45 p.m. on Friday 27th July, 2007. It will follow the Canterbury Region Langsem

Remits and Constitutional Amendments for consideration at the AGM should be

forwarded to the Secretary, NZALT, P.O. Box 12-237, Thorndon, Wellington by
Friday 15th June, 2007 in the form in which they are to be presented to the meeting.
Each must include the names of the proposer and seconder, together with an
explanatory statement. All remits and notices of amendment received by the due date
will be put on the website and also circulated through means of the Regional Officers’
electronic networks. Remits and amendments cannot be accepted at the meeting itself.

Nominations for the National Executive

Nominations are called for regional officers for all regions. The nominations are to be
in the hands of the Secretary by Friday 15 June, so that voting papers can be prepared
for postal ballots where necessary. Voting for regional officers will be carried out
only in the regions where required. All Nominations will be acknowledged.
