RE: PCA order set updates
Hello, all.
The PCA policy changes were approved at the PPPPC on 7/16. Yay! I've made the final recommended
changes and updated the policy to the new template. The policy should be uploaded to the HUB soon.
Michelle, do you want to get together to discuss the changes to the order sets? I don't think there's much
other than the sedation scales, but we should look them over to be sure.

I was going to start working on the order sets after I'd finished updating the PCA Policy, since the policy
will have the finalized information for the sets. However, I'm more than happy to let Clark and Michelle
work on it, instead. I plan to take the policy to the PPPPC in the next month (date tbd) and can let you
know when it is approved. Let me know if I can do anything else to help.

Thanks. I copied Aurora Davis, RN, Co-leader with Max of the Pain Champions. Aurora is getting ready to take
the PCA policy to committee for final approval.

Aurora: I cant remember if there was a plan for updating the order set? Would it be helpful to have Michelle
and Clark help with that?

Clark: I think Shannon Johnson is working on the sedation policy. Is there a sedation order set? You might want
to contact her.
