Grade Class Behavior Plan is a multi-faceted approach involving student, parent and
teacher. Our goal is to have student control over their behavior.
Our classroom will have a stoplight approach. Students have individual sticks with their names
on them:
Green Light I am in control of myself and my learning.
Yellow Light- I am refocusing myself.
Red Light I need to remind myself of the classroom rules.
Each day, your child will start the day on green (regardl ess of how they ended the day before).
Our classroom rules are the 4 Bs:
1. Be a good listener
2. Be kind to everyone
3. Be safe
4. Be the best student you can be
If your child is not following one of these rules, the following consequences occur.
1. Warning
2. Warning and move stick to yellow
3. Warning and move stick to red note written on behavior calendar
4. Call parents
Each day, your child will color in their behavior calendar. Please check and initial the calendar
daily. Together, we will have a successful school year.
