worth of credits hours ( usually 120 credits ) , a year of student
teach
ABCTE offers no classroom experiences , no peers interaction ,
everything is based on testing . Material for these tests are offer
on their website .
Usually takes about a year to finish the whole complete cycle .

Unintentionally
The tendency of ABCTEs goal is to help new teachers,
however this start steering to those who already have a
career but wanted a change of path
Many experienced teachers have also take the ABCTE
as an extra qualification for their resume .
Not many high school graduate choose this path instead
of the traditional college .
Feedback from the
participants
ABCTE failed to keep the applicants from complete the program.
Out of 1,076 candidates, only 107 people have met the
requirements
those who are successful in getting their certifications; only about
fifty- percent of them have acquired a teaching position in the
United States.
Many questions the ABCTEs creditability . Some even worries
that the test fails them on purpose so they have to pay extra to
retake the tests .

Is ABCTE the right answer?
Federal Government has handed out more than 130 million
dollars and counting to private businesses and public institution
so they can develop certification programs .
Many teachers who have earned their bachelors or even master
degrees through the traditional college method with exceptional
knowledge and the experience to teach in the classroom has failed
to find jobs while the numbers of teachers with certification
through these alternative method is blooming .
