Unit Summary
Studentss will develop the following Unit Parts of The House which will be a great experience for them; because, they
are going to be developing online and interactive activities, watching videos and some other new software which most of
them will be new for each, in order to develop their fnal project which consists on recording their voices about a written
report on the House an all related to.

Evaluation Summary
The assessment stage will be done at the end of the three moments of the class, before the project, during
the project and in the presentation of the project, it means at the end of the experience.
Before the project the students will watch a video and a PPT after that they will participate in a discussion
session about the topic with the teacher. In this way the teacher will realize how the students background
knowledge is and observe how the topic calls students attention and interest.
The teacher will ask students to get in group of three students and they have to discuss what they watched
the students will fll an anecdotal record after the discussion session.
During the project the students will make several workshops that will help them in the development of their
fnal project. Specifcally, they will develop a written workshop which will be assessed through a Scale.
Finally, in the presentation of the project the students will present their fnal project to the whole class
taking into account the product and performance, the written report will be evaluated with a Scale and the
report recorded will be assessed by using a Rubric.
UNIT DETAILS
Previous Background
For the successful development of the Project students need to have at least some knowledge of grammar
and vocabulary about the topic. In addition, they will be concerned that pronunciation, intonation and
tone of voice are important in any oral presentation which will be the crucial part of the fnal project.
Procedure
Beginning:
Students will:
Observe a SpiderScribe map which contains a video about the main parts of the house and virtual Flash cards
about the main parts of the house.

Visit the online magazine about the diferent activities people do in each part of the house.

Practice pronunciation about the main parts of the house.
Pay attention to the pronunciation on the phrases.
Repeat pronunciation with the teacher.

Get in group of 5 students for working on their fnal project.
Prepare a short writing about the main parts of the house studied, the activities developed in each part and
the furniture that can be found in each one of them.
Record their voices about reading what they have written using the Songsmith software.
Present their fnal project to the whole class.
