DAMI PAUL SPEAKS IN THE SYNAGOGUE, CHURCH OF ALL NATIONS.

On Sunday, the 22nd of November, the Golden Eaglets’ number one goal keeper, Dami
Paul narrated his experience just before the 2009 FIFA under-17 world Cup with Prophet
T. B. Joshua to a large congregation in The Synagogue, Church of All Nations.

“Before I introduce myself” Dami addresses the congregation, “I want

to say thank you Man of God and everyone for your prayers and
supports. I had an injury and was being treated just before the
tournament. Four days before the tournament, my coach told me that
if I didn’t recover in time, I would be dropped from the team”.

Before then, Dami went to The Synagogue Church of All Nations for
prayers, and the man of God, Prophet T B Joshua, encouraged him,
telling him not to worry that he would bounce back before the
tournament.

The Golden Eaglets’ first choice keeper shed tears while addressing
the large congregation.

A day before the tournament, Paul told his coach that he wanted to go
home to see his mother. He cried to his mother who encouraged him
and told him that God would definitely do it.

Later, Dami called The Synagogue, Church of All Nations and Prophet
TB Joshua asked one of his evangelists to tell him not to worry that he
would play the tournament.

Dami went back to the camp the next day and to his greatest surprise
he felt no pain while jogging. He trained with the team and the doctor
confirmed he was fit.

This shows that God was really involved in Dami’s recovery and
performance. He did well throughout the tournament. He was
acclaimed one of the best goalkeepers in the tournament because he
eventually took his country, Nigeria, to the finals of the 2009 FIFA
Under-17 World Cup.
