Its the time of the year when the people of Bukidnon celebrate its culture and its people. A newbie
might think the festival is just like any other celebrations with parades here and there or night market
left and right but not Kaamulan. The festival has a character of its own and incomparable as it is the only
genuine tribal festival in the Country. Sounds serious huh? Well not deadly serious but seriously
interesting. Last year was our first time to witness the grandeur of Kaamulan and from then on we
began our appreciation of what it has to offer. Just to give you an insight of how we celebrated the
festival last year we are sharing to you five simple tips from us on how you could enjoy the Kaamulan to
the fullest.

1. Kaamulan means gathering. It is best enjoyed with a companion, the more the merrier. You can
bring your friends, families and classmates and have unlimited picture taking session in the
Kaamulan ground as your backdrop. Take advantage of the props usually set up by the tenant
for you and me to smile, project and perk! You will not only create lasting memories through
your lens but you can also help in promoting the province as a tourist destination especially if
you share photos in social networking sites.

2. Savor the foods and delicacies that are authentic Bukidnon cuisine. You dont have to splurge to
do so, the food tenants offer affordable yet sumptuous meals. If you want a homey ambiance,
try home-grown restaurants and indulge in their comfort foods. You have bunch of choices that
will cater to everybodys taste. ;

3. Wear your most comfortable outfit especially footwear and try to stroll around Kaamulan
ground. You will not only be able to enjoy the view of the greeneries but it is also beneficial to
your health because you get a chance to walk a little more;
