Bob Geldof was born on the 5 th of October 1951, Laoghaire, Ireland. His parents were Evelyn Geldof and Robert Geldof and he was an only child. His school was Blackrock collage in Dublin. He was bullied for being a bad rugby player.
He took jobs as a slaughter man, road navy and a pea canner. He was the lead singer of The Boomtown Rats. The Boomtown Rats have 7 number one hits. In 1984 he saw a documentary on the famine in Africa.
Bob Geldof was married to Pula Yates and they had 3 kids but she divorced him and married Michel Hunches and they had 1 kid.
Bob was knighted by the queen and won the noble peace prise twice.
