PASSION PROJECT

OBJECTIVE: Think of an area of interest you would like to investigate to present your learning to other students
(such as history of sport or a musical instrument, history and life of a celebrity, importance of Monuments and Landmarks (Disneyland,
Pyramids, Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, etc), aspects of a country, tribes around the world, investigating the origins of a movie, origins of a
game, technological changes, different currencies around the world, calligraphy, animals, human body, Solar System etc).

PURPSOSE: To further explore an area of interest that is appealing to you, along with informing and educating
others about your chosen area.

- How can you make a connection with your chosen topic, based on prior knowledge?
- What would you like to learn about your chosen topic?
- What would you like others to know about your chosen topic?

Possible Presentation Methods:
- interviewing an expert
- setting up a talk show with an expert/news
report
- labelled diagrams
- poster with relevant information
- iMovie, Windows Movie Maker, etc
- create a song
- mould a clay or Play-Doh figure
- sketch an image
- use water paints, pastels, chalks, charcoal to
create a picture
- PREZI
- class experiment
- class art activity
- class maths/literacy activity

Remember:
- No PowerPoint Presentations
- If someone is acting as an expert or an
interviewer, have all the information you
have researched prepared for them first,
before filming or presenting (possibly a script
form)
- Practise more than once, presenting to an
audience once complete
