You are on page 1of 2

Dear Joyce,

I am sending you this as encouragement as you write your paper and just because I want you know
that I am always thinking of you! I love you so dearly, so these are just a small way I can show that love to
you.
In this little basket, I have all kinds of treats to last you through these few weeks as midterms and
papers beginning to stress you out. You told me you couldnt find your cup, so I decided just to get you
another one! I hope you like this pink color! Chocolate is a must right? So, I got you plenty! You also
told me your favorite ice cream was Rum Raisin, heheI found you a carton! Enjoy it when you are
feeling down or stressed! Oh! I got you a box of Altoidsbut I realized after I bought them and came
home that they were the wrong kindI hope you dont mindI will eat them if you dont want them!
Finally, there are plenty of drinks! I got our favorite green tea, just so you can be thinking of me when you
are thirsty. The vitamin water is for you to drink during the day. I did a little bit of research, and I may be
wrong, but vitamin C is especially good for those with anemia, although I think its good for anyone really.
Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I am always thinking of you and that I love you so
much. I cant believe one month as almost gone by, but I also want you to know that I cherished every
moment of that one month. I will be praying for you.

With much Love,
XOXO

Yun

P.S. I wanted to leave you with some Bible verses (hehewhile you are writing a paper that requires you
to read the Bible). I hope these verses speak to you and strengthen you!

Isaiah 40:30,31 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the
LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall
walk and not faint.

Philippians 4:6,7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your
minds in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:6,7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,
casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Psalms 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.

Psalms 55:22 Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be
moved.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.

Jeremiah 17:7,8 Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree
planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is
not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you,
and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my
burden is light.
