In the past two years at FCC I have served as the Worship Minister. I plan, rehearse and lead
the praise team on a weekly basis along with scheduling over 40 volunteers. I also direct a 35
member volunteer choir that perIorms once a month. I Iocus my time on recruiting new members,
building relationships and planning worship experiences to reach our church body.

In the past two years at Kingsway I have served as the only K-12 music teacher. I teach 3
elementary choirs, 1 elementary band, 1 middle school choir, 1 high school choir, 1 select
choir and 1 middle/high school band. Additionally, I oversee 3 private teachers that come into
the building once a week and supervise a parent support organization that meets on a monthly
basis. My middle and high school ensembles have enjoyed success at music Iestivals and
competitions hosted by Ohio Music Education Association.

Under the supervision oI Pastor Randy Heckert, I led annual bi-weekly music events Ior
Malone University`s students. Attendance to these events ranged Irom 300 to 1,200 students. In
order to be a part oI this ministry, I had to be selected by the student body, have a strong
relationship with the Lord and be comIortable leading large groups oI my peers. Through this group
I had the opportunity to open Ior a David Crowder concert in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Salt Church was Iounded by my Iather, Al Gernovich, in the year 2005 and he asked me
to put the worship team together. My brother played the drums, my sisters sang and I played the
piano. It was not long until we had a bass player (which I taught) a guitarist and a Iew more singers.
Within two years we had a solid worship team oI 9 people leading worship Ior a congregation oI
130 on a given Sunday. This experience taught me leadership, patience, perseverance and
discipleship.

During my time at Malone I taught K-12 private piano lessons. My students thrived in
musicality, music theory and technical accuracy. I helped organize two recitals Ior my
students every year and two oI my students went oII to pursue a degree in music education.

During my clinical experience, I was responsible Ior planning and rehearsing repertoire oI
various styles and periods to eight separate instrumental ensembles consisting oI around 700
students. I also had the privilege oI working with Iour band directors and one high school
choir director. During my time at Lake, I wrote drill Ior the marching band, accompanied the
high school choir concert and directed in the Fall and Christmas Programs.

Under the supervision oI Dr. Cynthia Bridges, I planned and rehearsed the Malone University
Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Piano Ensemble and the Pioneer Spirit
Marching Band. This involved warming up each ensemble, running the rehearsal and directing
selections at our concerts and Iootball games.

Under the supervision oI Dr. David Donelson, I led weekly sectionals Ior the Malone
University Chorale and the Malone Chamber Choir. During this time, our choral ensembles
sang in numerous venues nationally and internationally including Germany, Austria and the
Czech Republic.

Organized and directed several elementary choirs to go throughout our community and sing in

Coordinated and supervised 30 Kingsway middle school students to volunteer at several
organizations throughout Ohio. We spent time working at the Central American Medical
