Tawhid

If it is possible to be strongly insistent upon monotheism than Judaism or Christianity, then Islam is so.
Its empathetic monotheism is expressed in the witness, or shahada. There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet. This witness is uttered daily by every devout Muslim.
Tawhid belief in the oneness of god, is most basic to Islam.
The intent of the witness is to dismiss all other duties as mere fabrications and empty illusions in the face of the one true god.
Allah is given historical location as the one who worshipped as mecca and who reveals the quran to Muhammad
Muslims believe in Allah as eternal and all powerful creator.
There are 99 titles of praise traditionally awarded to Allah.
Angels
The Quran was given to Muhammad by the Arch angel Gabriel speaking on behalf of Allah.
Islam affirms the existence of spiritual beings, intermediate between humanity and Allah, who carry out Allahs will in the world.
Unlike humans they do not posses free will.
The Quran names other angels apart from Gabriel.
Michael was an instrument for carrying out the willIblis or Shaitan (Satan) who has a demon army of evil Jinn.
Various unnamed angels perform such tasks as helping Muslims in battle, protecting the gates of heaven and hell and keeping records of peoples thoughts and actions for reference on judgement Day.
Books of Allah
Revelation of God's intentions is through the inspired books called the Books of Allah.
These are the written revelation of God's intentions. God revealed his truths to his prophets.
The 4 most important of these books are the Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David, the Gospels of Jesus and the Qur'an.
Followers of Islam (Muslims) believe that the Torah, Psalms and Gospels had much in common with the teachings of Islam but over time the original teachings were distorted or lost.
Muslims believed the Qur'an to be the most complete and most true of all the Books of Allah.
A true believer not only accepts the truth of the Qur'an intellectually, but also practices obedience to the divine law in daily life.
Rusul
Muslims believe in Rusul, the messengers or prophets of God.
From the Muslim viewpoint Islam is the oldest of the major religions. That it has existed form the beginning of time and has been gradually revealed by God to humankind through a series of prophets who have spoken on behalf of God.
The Quran specifically acknowledges 3 sets of earlier revelations and names some other 25 individual prophets.
The accepted scriptures are the Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David and the Gospel of Jesus.
The most important of the Rusal (prophets) are those who introduced new teachings: these are Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus.
Muslims believe that Allah sent the true Quran to the prophet himself who received it fully, thus the Quran is the final and complete revelation of Allah.
Supremacy of Allah's will
The Qur'an takes for granted that people have free will to choose between good and evil
With that freedom they are also held accountable to Allah for their actions
Muslims have the responsibility to choose the good.
Allah is just, those who are condemned to hell for doing evil receive their proper punishment.
Nothing can occur without the knowledge of Allah and nothing is outside his control.
Therefore it seems that some people are predestined/fated to go to heaven and others to hell.
Akhira/ Last Judgement
The Qur'an warns humanity about Akhira; life after death in which there will be final judgement.
This day is called the Day of Reckoning.
The thoughts and actions of each person will be examined and the person will be consigned appropriately to heaven or hell.
Only those who believe in revelation of the Prophet will be rewarded with the delights of heaven.
For the unbelievers and sinners the fires of hell await.
