Natural World Poems Work
Read one of the poems and create a CSI with the poem USING textual evidence. Then answer
the questions that follow for BOTH poems.
The Pond:
1. List 5-10 of the verbs in this poem that are strong verbs (ex. trudge). Then explain
how the verbs help you see (visualize) the pond through the authors eyes.
