For the last time, we can see that on TV, radio, newspapers and some of the political magazines a lot
of people discuss and write about the political situation in the Ukraine. According what we see and
read, I can say that now Ukraine oercoming really bad situation, as a reolution against the
goernment. At that time, when the country becomes really weak and there is chaos inside of it, other
neighborhood countries can !use" this situation and to get inole in this kind of conflict. That is
e#actly what $ussia did to Ukraine.
Accodrding to %arsaw business &ournal it was stated that on 'arch () *+(, there was a referundum
asking inhabitans of -rimea either to &oin $ussia or Ukraine. The members of $ussian .uma
announced that they really want -rimea to become a part of $ussia. /oweer, fie 0uropean Union
members country are totally not satisfied with this decision. Their opinion is that if -rimea becomes a
part of $ussia it is going to mean an end of peace and soereignity.
The current situation in the country is not so stable and peaceful. I can see from the news that people
are really angry and they do not want this situation to lead to ery bad conse1uences. In the part of
-rimea, people are not really satisfied to become a part of $ussia.
Accodring to the article by Andrew /iggins !2teeped in its bloody history, again embrasing
resistance "in the 3ew 4ork Times, it is obious that this kind of compicated relationship between
those two cuntries are from the past history. This should be happen now or later, $ussia was preparing
for this, despite the fact that Vladimir 5utin was busy at that time with 6lympic 7ames in 2ochi.
$ussia8s takeoer of -rimea is already so complete. 6n the other hand in some &ournal articles I hae
read that taking oer -rimea will not bring success to $ussia. For now $ussia should spend a lot of
money on this, and those money are going to !come" from elites and corruption.
From the 5ublic $elations point of iew, I can say that for $ussia what is it doing now, is not so good
for their reputation. For now 0uropean Union and een U2A is not satisfied with this decision and
they all make &udgement as saying that what $ussia is doing now, is illegal.
