At 2000 Degrees my most prominent task include working the register, giving pottery
demonstrations to rst time customers, and cleaning up after customers who have
completed their projects. Giving demonstrations has helped me acquire conversation
skills. I have also strengthened my problem solving skills through answering questions
from customers. The job also requires spacial reasoning through arranging inventory and
loading the kiln.
SHIFT LEADER, DUNKIN DONUTS, BLOOMSBURG PA 2012 - PRESENT
Dunkin Donuts is a fast paced job with a strong focus on customer service. I became a
Shift Leader six months after being employed as a Crew Member because I displayed
leadership and excelled at customer service with a smile. The job offered many challenges,
as I was not used to being in charge of people my own age and older, however I was able
to adapt a leadership style which commanded respect while maintaining healthy
relationships. In regards to customer service, I quickly became adept at solving issues that
arose concerning problems with orders, pricing, and speed of service.
CATERING ASSISTANT, THE BARN AT BOONES DAM, BLOOMSBURG PA SUMMER 2011, SUMMER 2012
As a catering assistant, my main tasks involved setting up for events, serving guests during
events, and cleaning up after the fact. I learned to work as part of a team through
communication, specically involving which tasks had yet to be completed. I also learned
time management as most events were weddings with strict schedules for start time,
meals, etc.
