Collaborative Language Interactive Community, Founder & Committee Member 2012-Present Developed a language focused activist group to bring together two divided linguistic communities in an effort to nd a equal and safe ground for communication, community and skill development.

community. planned and documented guidelines for operation and a protocol for committee development, lead mission statement development and designed process for delegation of duties for future committee members lead PR initiatives to advertise for attendance and community collaboration including: yer design, social media image design and activity planning.

Advanced ASL Class & Mentor Experience May-July 2012 Designed and Co-Facilitated Community Education Class in collaboration with Deaf Mentor for 10 week class, twice a week.

Lead a team of 4 mentors in the planning and execution of planned class activities that encouraged skill development collaboratively developed curriculum in order to focus skill criteria development for attendees, created class activities to support them.

Week long boarded participation in workshops and activities in a full ASL language immersion experience that paralleled a Deaf Mentorship program to teach nationwide deaf participants how to become mentors. Communication Services for the Deaf, MN-Event Volunteer! ! ! ! 2011-2012 Involved doing work in various capacities including administrative tasks, assisting with Adult Education classes and helping set up and break down several fundraising events including World Aids Day and a GLBT Educational Seminar. Metro Deaf School, St Paul, Youth & Fundraiser Event Volunteer! ! ! 2011-2012 Worked in several different atmospheres with elementary aged children for Math Nights and with Youth for a high school dance and a sports fundraiser Open Arms of Minnesota, Volunteer Cook, Special Events Catering ! ! ! 2007-2009 Involved in the daily workings of the organization to feed a large community of people living with chronic progressive diseases in the Twin Cities. Tasks included food preparation, preparing and packing weekly meals and extensive involvement in the organizations yearly Fundraising events including preparing and serving 5 course meals on and offsite in a high volume formal catering atmosphere. Clare Housing-Partners in Aids Care, Meal Preparation Volunteer! ! ! 2008-2008 Monthly at-home preparation of a single meal for one assisted living housing unit where residents are living in later stages of illness.
