This connection will be made using an instructional video including the letter, an example, and a connection with phonics. Materials needed includes a Mac computer with iMovie download, speakers, and projection option.

Make connections between the letter and the represented example of a word beginning with the chosen letter.*(Our intention was to have each of the letters, word and pictures pop up but due to the size of the pictures and placement of the letters, some did not show up after it was finalized.) letters and their sounds; apply, use the ABC song out loud for practice; analyze, differentiate letters and their sounds from each other. 1. Instruct students to sit in their assigned seat, with the projection clearly visible. 2. Tell students they will be learning their ABCs with help of the video. 3. Play iMovie, repeated if necessary. 4. Engage in student interaction by asking them to repeat letters in order, make associations with pictures and sounds. 5. Reiterate information learned about ABCs until teacher feels students have good understanding and accurate knowledge. 6. Assess knowledge using images of letter, associated word, asking to repeat in order, and repeat letter sound.
