What is a Statistical Argument?

Statistical arguments are those that Draw conclusions about all of a group by looking at part of a group Statistics is the science and mathematics of collecting, analyzing, and reporting data. Before we can talk about statistical arguments, you need a little bit of statistics background.

Types of Statistics
Descriptive statistics report and analyze data about things people have observed.

Argumentative statistics draw generalizations about things that havent been observed based on a sample of things that have been observed.

1 Point: The presentation earns a point because the organization of the presentation flows with the lessons in the book which made it easy to follow and take notes. 1 Point: The presentation was not bombarded with too much textual content. Each slide had necessary textual content to convey its purpose. 1 Point: The text is easy to read the contrast is balanced because the text is dark and the background is light. And the presentation doesnt seem to have any grammatical errors. 1 Point: The graphics in the presentation correlates with the text in each slide and there arent any unnecessary uses of media throughout the presentation. 1 Point: The content and text are simple. Each slide is necessary and the use of bullet points also makes the text easy to follow. And the use of bold letters effectively draws the attention of the audience and highlights important information.
