Explain what excellent customer service means to you. Please include an example of how you have achieved this.

I believe there is such a thing called the public spirit, and this is an energy achieved when the collective, harmonious sentiments of a group of people in a particular time and place are all happy. Its a sense of gratitude, of enjoyment, and unison in celebration. I have learned from the beginning of my career to recognize this energy, and when I feel it at an event Ive produced, I know Ive achieved excellent customer service. e cant always control our inner emotions, but we do know at the end of the day whether or not we feel happy. !hat is the objective I strive for in my customer service, the silent art of making people happy and they dont "uite know why. !ruth be told, when all elements of an event are going well, when customer service is at its peak perfection, when the small details have been thought through, the interactions are helpful and knowledgeable, the site layout flows without concern and the experiential moment is achieved, you will never individually be recognized by the public at large for your great service, because, you made them feel great and they cant attribute that to one person or action. #rom the beginning of my career working for the $lympic %ames abroad I first realized this achievement with great spectator service delivery, and I have continued to hone this skill with all of my local events in &algary over the past '( years. $ne of the latest examples was producing a free opera outside in the back alley where every passing &algarian was welcomed to stop and watch. )uring this event, rather than being a spectator to this grand performance, I ran around the outskirts, the back alleys, the &*train platforms welcoming everyone in site with a smile and encouraging invitation. #rom an immigrant family from +igeria, to a perceived group of young hoodlums, to a pair of distinguished seniors disembarking for their hotel, each were invited and welcomed to come and watch. ,earing their communal comments of $ and !hank you and this is so cool dude was excellent customer service achieved.
