12 , March, 2014 NEWSLETTER No 13 Dear Parent/Carer Proposed NUT Strike In order to give you advanced warning I need to let you know that if the proposed NUT strike goes ahead on th Wednesday, 26 March 2014 the following classes will be affected: Class 2 Class 5 Class 6 Class 7 The children in those classes will not be able to come into school on that day, however children in all the other classes must come in as usual. I will send an update and reminder to you nearer the time but I realise that many of you need this advance notice in order to be able to have some stand-by arrangements in place for possible disruption that day. Class 1: Mrs. Reeve will be returning from maternity leave immediately following the Easter Holiday. We will be very sorry to see Miss Rae leave as she has been covering maternity absences for over two years here at Salesbury. I am sure you would all like to join me in wishing her all the best in her future career. Safety of Children: I would like to draw to your attention to the gravel path at the side of the school, the path is not for use by children. We have also had a number of children climbing the wall between the path and school, and also climbing one of the trees belonging to Mr. & Mrs. Hunter. These areas are out of bounds for children. Non Uniform Day Change of Date: Please note the non-uniform day for the children has been moved to Thursday, 27 March 2014. Donations of any form of chocolate should be brought in on that morning if your child doesnt want to wear their school uniform in school that day. The donations are for the Chocolate Bingo Night organised by the Church and FOSS. Yours sincerely
