To Whom It May Concern, It is with great pleasure that I recommend Tammy Muczynski for a position within your school district. I have known Tammy for six years, two as her direct supervisor. I have seen Tammy grow as an educational leader and believe she possesses three very important leadership traits; Tammy is creative, student centered and extremely hard working. Troy School Districts Continuing Education program has flourished under Tammys leadership. As Director, and through her creative spirit, the Continuing Education program, as well as the district summer school program has experienced tremendous growth. Troy now hosts one of the largest and most academically enriched summer school programs in our area. After conversations regarding the diversification of our programs, Tammy and her team began online summer offerings that have more than doubled in size and help meet the needs of our students and community. When presented with the opportunity to further meet the needs of a large untapped student population, Tammy accepted the challenge and worked tirelessly along with her staff to develop a program for home-schooled students and their families. The outcome of this work: Intersect, a program which has proven to be a tremendous success for the school district and residents. Tammys knowledge and student centered thinking has made this valuable resource available to a population that had a need for additional programs in order to ensure their success. Finally, Tammy is amongst one of the hardest working professionals I have met. Whenever I have a need for her input or involvement, she continually exceeds all expectations. Further, Tammy continues to focus on developing her leadership skills and has joined with the professional learning of the districts secondary principals whenever the opportunity is presented. These attributes, as well as her diligence in completing her administrative degree, I believe make Tammy an excellent candidate for a leadership position in your district.
