Husbands and wives are called to serve each other and their family. Children are called to serve their parents. Doctors are called to serve the sick. As a twenty year old young woman, who am I called to serve? My life has been a mission to serve myself. Ive followed impulses and selfish motivation, and sooner than later it brought me back to God, the God who I was created to serve. This is His mission, to go out into the world and preach the Gospel.

This is not an opportunity to go do some good work and come home. This is the opportunity to connect with my brothers and sisters in Mozambique, and let Gods unfailing love flourish. Pemba is a small city within Mozambique lacking basic human needs, such as food and healthcare, overflowing with orphaned children. God is closest to those who are broken and in need of His unfailing love. This is where I intend to go. This is the God I will relentlessly serve.
How will I be serving? Cooking. Cleaning. Leading worship. Praying for and with all those who seek prayer. Sharing my testimony. Meeting basic human needs by preparing meals. Spending time with orphaned children. Living simply. Spreading the Gospel. Learning about another culture and experiencing the poverty. Possible bush outreach.
