Inayah Staf Pengajar pada Jurusan Administrasi Niaga Politeknik Negeri Semarang Abstract.Social capital can be summed up as a resource that arises from the interactions within a community, both among individuals and institutions who deliver an emotional bond of trust, mutual relations, and social networks, values and norms that shape the structure of the society useful for the coordination and cooperation in achieving common goals. The importance of the cultural dimension of social capital, especially as determinants of quality and utilization of the role of community institutions that grow in the community will greatly contribute to the acceleration and optimization of the development processes.
