C YBERBULLYING
Cyberbullying is defined as a young person being tormented, harassed, and embarrassed. According to statistics, kids who are bullied whether online or physically may feel different , powerless, unpopular, and alone. In addition, Girls are about twice as likely as boys to be victims and prepetrators of cyberbullying. Bullying victims are 2 to 9 times more likely to consider committing suicide. Nearly 43% of kids have been bullied online. 1 in 4 has had it happen more than once. 70% of students report seeing frequent bullying online.

Monitoring the students at all times for safety purposes is important. Knowing what websites are safe and which ones that are not is also important.
S PEAK OUT
If a student see another student getting bullied or who is in trouble. Speak out! Do not be afraid to stand up for those who are afraid. We are here to help one another. The bullying must stop here but it starts with us.

L IBRARY V OLUNTEERS
We are looking for volunteers for the library on next week. Students may help out with putting the books back on the shelves and help cleaning the computers. There will be a pizza party given to those students.
