My Analysis 1. Which assessment method/s did I observed to be most often used? Least often? What could explain such observations? - The most often used in assessment tools is oral questioning. And the least often used is performance test. Maybe because the class should last at least 1hr, time consuming to the class thats why they minimize the activities that are given to the students. 2. If I were to re-teach the same lesson would I assess learning in the same way as my Resource Teachers did? Explain? - If I were to re-teach the same lesson but I change some strategies and activities or add some for the students interest to the lesson. 3. Which of the assessment methods are categorized as traditional assessment? Which ones are classified as authentic assessment? - Written response method is categorized to traditional assessment, because it is the commonly used assessment tools for the students. The authentic assessment these are the performance tasks to the students. 4. How does traditional assessment differ from authentic assessment? - Traditional assessment is differing from authentic assessment because it is performance based like reporting, role-playing and all the activities that is based from the performance of the students. Unlike traditional is a commonly use in assessing the students performance.

My Reflection 1. Is there such a thing as best assessment method or an assessment method that is appropriate for all types of learning? - Maybe there is a best assessment method but in a different students, because they have different talents. Which is they are best in doing those activities.

Fs6 ep.2 My Observations 1. Observed actions of a teacher who is a progressivist: - A progressivist teacher is to focus their students to learn by theyre own. Let the students to do the things that they didnt know thats why they are learning by itself, the teacher give the instruction and the students do the work. 2. Observed actions of a teacher who is a behaviorist: - Behaviorist shaping the behavior of the students, molding the students to be a good person.

My Reflections Based on your concrete experience and the actions of the teacher you have observed, how important is your philosophy of education to your future career as a teacher? How would your experiences and observations contribute to your becoming a teacher. Philosophy of education is a very important part of a teacher. Because it is the application on how you manage your students, and how you become an effective teacher. Because it reflects to your behavior as a teacher and to your students and how they become a good students. Based on my experiences theres a lot of things I should remember so that I can properly manage my class.

My Future Application Using the first hand experiences in this activity, how will I use these when I become a teacher in the future? a. In teaching and learning we have to make sure that our students learn from what the teacher teach, we can said that the students learn if they pass the quizzes, test and all the activities that they do is correct. After that you know that youre teaching is effective. b. In addressing diversity of learners we have to be equally fair because students are all the same, maybe they are not the same in some aspects or activities but still we need to treat them equal. c. In creating a conducive learning environment As a future teacher, I will make sure to my students that theyre environment is conducive and comfortable for learning. Because it is important for leaning and it can affect the students attention in a class.
