Resumen de la unidad
We must eat to live. The important thing is that we must eat a correct balance of food for our bodies to be healthy. In this project, we pretend to help our students how to eat healthy food for having an excellent and vigorous life. They will identify that we have to eat food from different food groups every day. The food groups are: bread and cereals, fruit and vegetables, meat and dairy, and sweets. They will create a food pyramid where they will get protein, vitamins, minerals, and carbohydrates to function well. They will know that some sweets are needed but no as many as most young people eat.

Proceso y propsito
The teachers use this techni-ue to the students, because they want to know if the students know something about this topic. They will mention a list of ideas. The students will try to answer short -uestions for opening the topic of the class. The participants will create a collage using different pictures of healthy food. ,owever, if they don.t have a computer they can search pictures from maga/ines, newspapers, and so on0 to create the collage of healthy food. The students will read a short selection about eating a healthy food. 1fter this, they will work in a 2eading comprehension in group of two. The participants will create a vocabulary with the words that they don.t know. 1nd also, they will search the definition of these words on the internet or dictionary. The students will search different images of healthy food to create compositions of pictures. The teacher wants that his(her students create a short conversation using healthy food. They can use internet or books to search a support.

We choose the talent students as leaders of the classrooms.
