:- Recognition of Indian Body Builders Federation-regarding.
Vide Boards letter of even number dated 03.05.2010 (RBE No. 67/2010) it was inter alia decided
to derecognize Body Building Federation of India since this Federation did not have the
necessary recognition of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
2. Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports vide their letter and order Nos. F.18-2/2011/SP.I dt.
16.10.2012 has accorded recognition to the Indian Body Builders Federation led by Shri Pradeep
(Baba) Madhok as President and Shri Chetan M. Pathare as General Secretary as the National
Sports Federation for promotion of Body Building sport in the country.
3. In line with the decision of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Railway Sports
Promotion Board, for the game of Body Building, accords its recognition to the above Indian
Body Builders Federation. Participation and medal winning performance in the events organized
by the above Federation may be considered for recruitment, incentives and other establishment
related issues, as per Boards extant policy instructions.
