Literary Analysis
Writing Situation Realism was a style of writing occurring from 1865 to 1910. Writing in the Realism genre often focused on societal issues and was defined by the author's use of characterization in the way each character behaved, thought, acted, reacted, and just lived. Directions for Writing Choose and analyze one of the texts we have read from the Realism genre. Write a literary analysis in which you explore ways in which the text is representative of Realism.
