Dr. Gollery is dedicated to providing the best undergraduate education for Sierra Nevada College students and the dynamic balance she creates between her different roles at SNC provides the students and faculty with a strong anchor of support and connection to give their very best day after day. Dr. Gollery can always be counted on to support adjunct faculty with all their nuanced needs throughout the academic year. She makes herself very accessible to the adjunct faculty and I can always count on her to offer creative and insightful solutions to any issues I may bring her. For example, the laboratory portion of the Anatomy &Physiology course I teach requires a great deal of materials and specimens for the best educational experience for students. Dr. Gollery has consistently and creatively helped to find the best solutions for acquiring the needed materials, while still remaining within our budget for the class. Dr. Gollery also provides an important connection between adjunct faculty members. For example, she works hard to get faculty members to work together to ensure students receive the best educational curricula and support. When I taught Biology 104 Health, Nutrition & Sustainability, Dr. Gollery facilitated a dialogue between myself and other adjunct faculty members whose courses had some overlap of content with my course. By bringing us together, we were able to co-create the best curricula for our courses that would give students the most well-rounded core education in their field of study. She also works to ensure that the adjunct faculty members are included in all academic and school events and this helps to make us feel like we are a part of the SNC community. In the years I have worked with Dr. Gollery as an adjunct faculty member at SNC, I continue to be more impressed with who she is and how hard she works to ensure student academic and future career success. She makes herself very available to students and she is very responsive to their needs. She has helped many students make connections in the community to pursue research, academic, and career opportunities that have greatly contributed to their professional success after graduation. Dr. Gollery is a talented and devoted instructor and her biology students come into my upper division Anatomy & Physiology course very well prepared. Starting with students with such a solid foundation in biological sciences, I am able to take students to a very respectable

Of all the wonderful department supervisors I have worked with in the university setting, Dr. Gollery stands out as the most personable, supportive, dedicated, creative and insightful supervisor and professor I have encountered. She is very highly respected and appreciated among the faculty as well as the student body. She brings a level of professionalism, commitment and integrity to Sierra Nevada College that has helped bring this school into the top ranks for undergraduate education.
