INTRODUCTION - Students gather on the mat - Teacher introduces the topic of the solar system - Play YouTube video - Discuss what they know about the solar system now PROCEDURE - Students complete DiscoveryKids Quiz on the computers - Students are encouraged to answer the questions as best as they can - Students use snipit to capture the part on the screen that displays information after answering the question - Students save the snipit image in a folder under their name on the student drive Learner Diversity - Students who finish early may complete the DiscoveryKids puzzle CONCLUSION - Teacher gathers students quiz marks - Students gather on mat and review INTRODUCTION - Review previous lesson - Discuss what students learnt - Discuss lesson objectives for todays lesson PROCEDURE - Students choose a planet that they wish to investigate
