civilization, the people of Christikan have established their own belief system. It shares similar religious beliefs and teachings with other world religions and helps the people of Christikan to make the right decisions and actions. Here are some examples. The first principle of the belief system in Christikan is called Surq. Surq stands for mental strength, physical strength and to be able to overcome problems with not just violence but with other ways such as negotiating. To carry out Surq, once a month Christikanians need to fast, not eat, for the first day of the month until nighttime when they eat only self-grown food. This will teach the people how to overcome struggles such as starvation. This is similar to the Islamic belief of Jihad. As stated by Frey, Jihad represents the human struggle to overcome difficulties and do things that would be pleasing to God, (101). In the Islamic belief system, Jihad means to overcome struggle against themselves. They state that lesser Jihad is to overcome external struggles, and greater Jihad is to overcome internal struggles. This belief will help the people realize how to overcome problems by having people compromising during conflicts within the civilization. People would be able to contribute more to the civilization without having to fight over things. With these aspects, the people can make the right decisions and actions. This will create a successful civilization with the belief of Surq. This ritual and belief will make people more productive and get them to know how to solve lifes problems with ease. In Christikan, the second tenet of the belief system is Trup which stands for trustworthiness or to be honest and to not lie. To practice Trup people must kneel, meditate, clear their minds and to concentrate on telling the truth and not lying. This will lead to a civilization that has nobody who lies and this will end up helping the civilization politically and socially to better prevent conflicts. Being honest and telling the truth is similar to the Eightfold Path, as alleged by Frey, Be careful and truthful in what you say. Do not lie or gossip, (159). The Eightfold Path for Buddhism is what lead the people of Buddha to enlightenment by giving them rules to live by so they would be able to access enlightenment. Many of these rules emphasized to be honest, do not lie, and to tell the truth. This shows that with being honest helped the people of Buddha become successful. By being able to tell the

truth, conflicts and hate would be less of a problem in the civilization Also without lying in the civilization when voting for a leader there wouldnt be any discrepancies in the information because people would be able to know what the politician is going to do. This will create people in a civilization that make the right decision and actions. This shows that the belief in trustworthiness will be very useful in situations in a civilization. The third belief of the Christikanian belief system is called Rustim for respect. This is meant to show how to respect the people in the civilization and outside of the civilization and to not create enemies. To represent Rustim, people have to learn how to respect people and to treat people as you would treat yourself. This is pretty similar to the belief in the Confucian religion, as stated by Frey, Do not do to other what you would not want done to you, (208-209). In the Confucian religion, people had to respect the people above them such as government officials, powerful people, and they had to respect their elders as well. This emphasized to have Good Character as said by Confucius, the creator of Confucianism. In Christikan, like Confucianism, people will have to respect people older than them and to respect people above them or below them. This quality would help a civilization thrive because it will help to have the civilization to have a better image to other civilizations so wars will not be started. Respect will help the civilizations people make the right action by having respect for all people. This will lead for a successful civilization. The belief of respect will help the civilization accomplish many things and it will help for people to get along so no conflicts will undergo.
