Oral Communications Informative Speech

Informative Speech Workshop


(Most of this information will be covered within this packet)
1. Students will find a topic on identify a charity that they are passionate about.
2. Students will analyze their topic to make it relatable to their audience.
3. Students will write a detailed Outline that includes all information to be
covered in the speech. (Any student who turns in an essay or manuscript of their
speech will receive a 0)
4. Students will create a Works Cited page in MLA format.
Works Cited: 30 Points Assisted (Due on speaking day) *This will need to be

5. Students will present an Informative Speech that teaches the class about a
charitable organization. The speech must be objective and non-opinionated.
6. I also need to have your research turned in the day of the speech, this should
