How To Speech

Requirements:
1. You will explain to the class how to accomplish a task, using your
knowledge of how to complete a task.
2. You must being something into class to demonstrate with.

a. Make sure that you know how to incorporate the visual aid you
choose into your speech effectively.
3. Make sure that your speech is on speaking cards. If you walk up to speak
with anything else in hand (paper/outline/ect.) it will be a 15 point
deduction off of the top of your grade.
4. Make sure that you are telling the audience how to complete the task and
not just telling them about the task.

Time Limit:
5. Your speech should be 3-5 minutes long
a. You will lose one point (up to five) for every minute your speech is
over the assigned time limit.
b. You will lose two points (up to five) for every minute your speech is
under the assigned time limit.

Dress Code:
6. While you are not required to dress in any particular way for this speech it
is encouraged that you dress in a way to compliment your speech.
a. EX: If I were going to give my speech on how to rope a calf, I might
choose to wear something of a more country motif.
