Program Qualifications
Requirements for Teacher/Mentor
Must be 25 years old and up (see age section)* Must be a member of WCCI for 5 or more years* Must love God and be a follower of Jesus Christ Must love people Must have a willing and teachable spirit Must complete training

Requirement Clarification
TEACHERS - Teachers are mentors. They are loving mature Christians that identify themselves as Disciples and true followers of Jesus Christ. They are fellow believers, church members & friends. They are not required to be ordained ministers or theologians. They must be dedicated to God and His Word. They have confidence in Gods Grace, not in their own abilities. Teachers lead discussions, offer support and inspire growing believers to focus on Christ, the Holy Spirit, Gods Word and to become future teachers/mentors.

Must be 18 years old and up (see ages section)*
Must be a member of WCCI* Must love God and desire to be a follower of Jesus Christ Must have a willing and teachable spirit Must attend orientation

DISCIPLES - Disciples are church members that desire to have a closer walk with God and possess a thirst to learn. They can be new to the Body of Christ, new members of the church or seasoned church members. AGES - The ages are preferred ages, but exceptions can be made when a strong presence of maturity is displayed. If you are younger than the recommended ages, notify the admin staff and we will give you a call to discuss. MEMBERSHIP Teachers must be members of the church for 5 years, but if you go through one year of the program as a disciple, you are eligible to become a Teacher/Mentor In-Training (by recommendation only). NO EXCEPTIONS You must have a willing/teachable spirit and a desire to be in the program!

Program Pairing Scenarios

Requirements for the Relationship(s) Teachers and Disciples are paired together in one-on-one pairs or small groups. Teachers can be assigned 1 or more disciples. The teacher can conduct sessions in small groups or conduct individual discipleship sessions Groups can be no larger than 4 people

1-on-1 Teacher & New Believer

Small Group - 3 Teacher Paired w/ More Than Disciple

Meet once a week at a convenient time for all parties face-to-face or by phone to discuss the lessons, the Word of God and to pray for one another. Recommended to meet face-to-face at least once a month. This will really help you understand the status of the relationship

Teacher-Disciple Assignment Qualifications

1. Teacher must be trained*

2. Disciple is properly oriented*

3. Both sign the commitment form. 4. Must have a profile form and picture on file.
1-on-1 Teacher & Growing Believer

After 1-4 are complete a paring assignment will be made.

A Pairing Assignment letter will be sent to the Teacher and the Disciple and it will include the names, emails and phone numbers of the pair. The teacher will initiate the first contact by calling and/or emailing the Disciple to setup the first meeting. Follow the session instructions found in the How to Conduct A Session section of the training document.

There are 4 mandatory classes that the teacher must attend.
Orientation/What is discipleship? How Does the Program Work? Code of Conduct/Ethics How to Conduct a Session

The disciples must attend an orientation class before being assigned. They are welcome to come to any of the teacher training session or program meetings and that will be considered getting oriented with the program. Certification Plan include attending program meetings where program updates are shared and attending any new classes that will be given.

The Goal of the Learner & the Purpose of the Believer are to be Disciples. And it doesnt matter what you may be called to do, at the core should be a Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Go Serve & Make Disciples

Jesus gave, served, taught, healed, invested, sowed, and sacrificed for others; likewise the disciple should also. Go Serve, Spread the Gospel of Grace and Make More Disciples!!!

An Ambassador for the Kingdom - A Charge to Keep

Every believer should come to a point in their Christian walk when they feel a sense of duty to speak boldly and candidly to others about God. At some appointed time, we should have an urge to execute what we have learned, by drawing the people of this world to the Kingdom of God so that they can be nurtured and taught the true love of God. This charge should not be left only to the Ministers and Pastors, this charge should be kept by every Believer who possesses understanding of what Jesus truly accomplished for us all. All you need is a willing spirit and faith in Gods Grace and that alone will be enough to enable you to help someone become victorious in this life. To be a Teacher/Mentor in this program signifies that you are indeed willingly to live out Matthew 28:19 NIV to Go therefore and make disciples. Accept the call to become a true Disciple of Jesus Christ and a true Ambassador for The Kingdom of God.

Become A Disciple of Jesus Christ

Every believer should be a disciple of Jesus Christ. A true follower of His doctrine (the Gospel of Grace) and a faithful steward of the Kingdom of God. To enroll in this program as a disciple, signifies to heaven that you are indeed willing to be an instrument for the masters use and a conduit by which He can distribute His message to the lost souls of this world.
