At least 85% of sophomore STLS will pass all of their classes by the end of the semester. 2. Increase Sophomore STLS student attendance by at least 5% by the end of the semester. The 15 Sophomores who are participating in the Students in Temporary Living Situations (STLS) Program Out of the 111 sophomores, 96 students have an average GPA of 2.38 and an average attendance rate of 84.7%. The 15 sophomore students who are identified as homeless and are participating in the STLS program have an average GPA of 1.92 and have an average attendance rate of 72.6%.

Academic tutoring for STLS students two days a week after school with groups of 10-15 students.

Teacher volunteer(s) to supervise the tutoring sessions. Applications for sophomore peer tutors. At least 10-15 sophomore peer tutors identified. Permission slip for STLS students & peer tutors to participate in afterschool program Donated snacks for the tutoring sessions.

Four week group counseling sessions discussing frustration, promoting school importance, offering support, and sharing resources. To accommodate all 15 students, they will be split into two groups (one group of 7 and one group of 8) and each small group will meet on different days of the week. Monthly check-in calls from Ms. Adams to STLS parents to review their childs academic progress, social/emotional health and attendance.

Consent form for student participation in small group counseling. Meeting Space for tutoring sessions and group meetings.

100% of the 15 sophomore STLS students will participate in the group counseling session.

Pre-Group Questionnaire Post-Group Questionnaire Students will report that they feel connected to and supported by their peers.

Sophomore STLS student attendance will increase from 72.6 % to 78% by the end of the semester.
