Pacific Clinics has been a supporter and advocate for the Marriage and Family Therapy
graduate programs throughout Southern California for over 10 years. We aim to develop ongoing
collaborative relationships with the areas MFT graduate programs. We are currently affiliated
with 15 different schools. We continually work on expanding our placement sites to keep up
with the demand.

The MFT Practicum program is a year-long (20-hour/week) training program aimed to
provide students with clinical, team oriented, real-world experience. They are assigned a variety
of clients, providing individual, family and group therapy. Our supervision includes individual
and group models. The strength-based, supportive, yet constructive supervision and training has
been one of the main reasons why Pacific Clinics is the preferred training program with many
graduate institutions. In addition, the students are provided with intensive and therapeutic
model-specific trainings on a weekly and monthly basis. We include Evidence-Based Practice
(EBP) training for the students. Many MFT trainee graduates from our program noted that the
exceptional training they received at Pacific Clinics allowed them to be outstanding candidates
when they sought employment.
