Brave New World Final Assignment

Assignment Option 1: Create a new cover page for Brave New World that addresses an issue of ethics and morality presented in chapters 15-18 of the novel. Criteria: Cover must fit 8.5x11 In colour, digital or hand drawn (no stick figures) Must include title, name of author, and publisher All visual details must be personally constructed and original Write a 3-4 page comparative critical reflection or essay about the reasons you chose to construct your cover page the way you did and the reasons for why other illustrators (published, such as your own in-class copy) may have constructed theirs the way they did. Consider choice of graphics, colour schemes, and text format (i.e. size, font style, or spacing).

Assignment Option 2: Write a 5-6 page well constructed essay that compares two issues that are found throughout chapters 15-18 of Brave New World. Choose to compare issues that raise conflicting responses from the reader regarding issues of ethics and morality. Issue examples: decantation, controlled social constructs, everyone belongs to everyone else, bullying, discrimination/caste systems, savage people and uncivilized society.
