Introduction
The Nakisa Transport Package for Visualization Solutions by Nakisa 4.0 SP1 contains the custom HR-OCI configurations, infotypes, and value tables required by Nakisa solutions to extract organizational structure and record data from the SAP system. The Transport Package is installed after the Nakisa ABAP Add-on installation, and before any Nakisa applications are installed on the SAP server. No further HR-OCI configurations are needed once the Nakisa Transport Package is installed.

About this Guide

The Nakisa Transport Package Installation and Specifications Guide is intended for system administrators who implement Nakisa solutions in their organization, and contains the following information: Supported Nakisa applications SAP requirements Installation and verification procedures Specifications of the custom HR-OCI configurations

SAP Requirements
Refer to the Environment Checklist for all system requirements. The custom HR-OCI configurations must be present on the server prior to installing Nakisa applications. Only one installation of the Transport Package is required; a separate installation is not necessary for each Nakisa application. The Nakisa ABAP Add-on must be installed on the SAP system prior to installing the Nakisa Transport Package. This add-on contains custom function modules used by Nakisa applications. The Nakisa ABAP Add-on is included in the Visualization Solutions by Nakisa 4.0 SP1 ZIP file. The following are additional requirements for the Transport Package installation: HCM_TMC_CI_1 and HCM_OSA_CI_1 business functions activated in the EA-HR component. Transport Control Program (TP) version 372.03.35, release 700.

The system administrator must have access to the <sid>adm user on the system where the custom HR-OCI configurations are installed, and should have knowledge in the following areas: Importing transport requests from the SAP system Basic knowledge of importing transport requests at the operating system level Transaction code STMS or STMS_IMPORT (whichever is used for transport requests) FTP and the SAP file system for AIX, Unix, and Solaris systems

Before Installing
Nakisa strongly recommends making a backup of the system before installing the Nakisa ABAP Add-on and Transport Package. These packages contain custom infotypes, RFCs, and evaluation paths that my impact customer-specific customizations in the SAP system that are not related to Nakisa applications. Refer to the sections following the installation and verification procedures for details on the Transport Package content to ensure there are no conflicts.

Installation
Transport Package installation files are located in the SAP_BackEnd/ECC6_[EhP version]/[installation type]directory in the VSN40SP1_0.ZIP file. Install the appropriate Transport Package that corresponds to the installation or upgrade outlined in the following tables. Note: The original Nakisa installations listed in the tables below are only single examples of many possible Nakisa application version and SAP server combinations.
