The London Eye is near the river Thames. Its the biggest wheel in the world and also the worlds most popular tourist attraction- it has 3.5 million passengers a year. They built it to celebrate the new millennium in 2000. It goes round very slowly, at 1 kilometer an hour, so passengers can easily walk on and off at the bottom. The Eye is 135 meters high and at the top you can see for 40 kilometers. People come from all over the world to ride on it and to see the view from the top.
