This was evident throughout her student teaching assignment in every aspect of the teaching day. Throughout her term with us, Jacqueline included new professional development ideas which focused on visible thinking strategies, introduced during our building Friday staff meetings.

It has worked beautifully, offering an efficient flow to the room and better meeting the needs of the students. Jacqueline has an innate sense of timing, readily adapting lessons to meet the needs 8. and climate of the classroom, remaining flexible and fluid. As Jacqueline continues to practice her craft, I have no doubt that she will anticipate and further adjust her teaching to fine-tune the instruction such as that of a seasoned teacher. Her creativity and dedication to excellence made each day an exciting one for everyone involved.

Learning Environment Comments: At the onset of her student teaching, Jacqueline immediately established a comfortable classroom atmosphere coupled with high expectations for all students. 4. The changes she implemented early on helped serve notice that she was a teacher too, commanding their respect and attention. She made a point, each day, to listen to each child and affirm their learning and their person.

She held herself with poise and confidence,working with a variety of colleagues in the building during professional development days, team-planning days, staff meetings and informal after-school meetings, offering suggestions and

opinions as the need arose. She readily reflected on her teaching, often adjusting within the day to better meet the needs of the students. Her flexibility and adaptability were notable for such a young, new teacher.

It would be a privilege to work with her as a colleague, should she get a teaching position, and I would recommend her without hesitation.

Final Evaluation Credit: Yes Comments: Jacquelyn did an outstanding job in her kindergarten placement at Lone Pine Elementary School in Bloomfield Hills. Her commitment to teaching, dedication to the students and knowledge of the early childhood curriculum were exceptional. She put in extra time assisting wherever she was needed. All of my observations in Mrs. Snyder's classroom were very positive. Jacquelyn was always prepared, well-informed and professional at all times. She has the desire and initiative to be a professional educator.
