What words do I use? VOCABULARY How well am I understood? COMPREHENSIBILITY

Beginning (N) I can use a small number of letters and am able to repeat them. I can be understood only with great effort by the listener.

Proficient (S) I can use a limited number of letters but they are repetitive. I can mostly be understood by someone used to listening to a language learner.

Advanced (O) I can use all letters appropriately.

I can be understood by someone used to listening to a language learner.
