Most of us may hear this saying a million times.

Prevention is better than tons of cure but it has a great impact not only in the field of nursing, as well as in our everyday living. With so much prevention, we may circumvent any kind of disease thus not needing any measures to restore health. Furthermore, simple ailment could lead to a danger, detrimental and lifethreatening condition taking this patient as an example. We can never know what happens inside our body therefore, we need to take precautionary measures and lifestyle changes while there is still time. Modification of diet, activities and prehistoric beliefs and behavior may lead to a healthy and worry-free life. With this case study Anemia secondary to CKD, ACS, and ESRD secondary to hypertension nephrosclerosis, I was challenged in a way that I needed to use critical thinking of what the disease condition is, the pathophysiology occurrence and treatment available in the said disease. This case study may help other nurse-researchers who will handle a kind of patient with or similar to the abovementioned diagnosis. Moreover, as patient advocate, I had learned the basic nursing interventions and treatment available for this kind of disease, thus rendering efficient and effective nursing care. The exposure experienced by me in the Medicine ward gave me a glimpse of what my chosen course has to offer. I am now starting to grasp the reality and the nature of Nursing. A case study is not just a mere requirement that student nurses needs to pass. In deeper analysis there are a lot of possible reasons why they need to come up with case study.
