Lesson - 1 One fine day, a bus driver went to the bus garage, started his bus, and drove

off along the route. No problems for the first few stops - a few people got on, a few got off, and things went generally well. At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. ix feet eight, built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to the ground. !e glared at the driver and said, "#ig $ohn doesn%t pay&" and sat down at the ba'k. (id ) mention that the driver was five feet three, thin, and basi'ally meek* +ell, he was. Naturally, he didn%t argue with #ig $ohn, but he wasn%t happy about it. ,he next day the same thing happened - #ig $ohn got on again, made a show of refusing to pay, and sat down. And the next day, and the next& ,his grated on the bus driver, who started losing sleep over the way #ig $ohn was taking advantage of him. -inally he 'ould stand it no longer. !e signed up for body building 'ourses, karate, .udo, and all that good stuff. #y the end of the summer, he had be'ome /uite strong0 what%s more, he felt really good about himself. o on the next 1onday, when #ig $ohn on'e again got on the bus and said, "#ig $ohn doesn%t pay&" ,he driver stood up, glared ba'k at him, and s'reamed, "And why not*" +ith a surprised look on his fa'e, #ig $ohn replied, #ig $ohn has a bus pass."
