PATONS YARN REQUIRED POMPERO 1 x 50g ball NEEDLES AND EXTRAS 1 pair 5.50mm (UK 5) (US 9) Knitting Needles. A Wool Needle.

BOWS (Make 2)
Using 5.50mm Needles, cast on 6 sts. Knit 17 rows garter st. Cast off. Wrap yarn firmly around centre to make a bow shape. Fasten off securely, leaving a length of yarn to sew bow to fingerless gloves.

GLOVES (Make 2, beg at wrist)

Using 5.50mm Needles, cast on 29 sts. Knit 1 row (wrong side). Beg rib patt - 1st row - K2, * P1, K2, rep from * to end. 2nd row - P2, * K1, P2, rep from * to end. Last 2 rows form rib patt. Cont in rib patt until glove measures 18 cm from beg, ending with a 1st row. Next row - Knit. Cast off.

MAKE UP
Using wool needle, join side edges together, leaving a 5 cm opening for thumb, approx 5 cm from cast off edge. Sew bows to front of gloves as pictured. Sew in all ends.
